Mobile Diesel Repair: DEF, DPF & Emissions
Modern diesel emissions systems are where trucks lose the most uptime. We diagnose DEF, SCR and DPF faults on light- and medium-duty diesels, including Cummins, Duramax and Power Stroke pickups and medium-duty box trucks, at your lot or job site.
What we handle on-site
- DEF system faults: dosers, pumps, heaters, sensors
- SCR efficiency and NOx sensor diagnosis
- DPF regeneration faults and forced regens
- Derate and limp-mode diagnosis
- Diesel maintenance: oil, fuel filters, water separators
- Glow plug and no-start diagnosis
- EGR system diagnosis
- Bi-directional tests and dealer-grade calibrations
Signs it's time to call
- A DEF, DPF or emissions warning light
- Derate or a speed-limit countdown
- Frequent or failed regenerations
- Loss of power, heavy smoke or poor fuel economy
Derates cost more than repairs
A truck in derate isn't earning. The DEF quality, doser, NOx sensors, temperature sensors and DPF all feed the same emissions computer, so a derate can start in any of them. We test the system in order instead of throwing sensors at it.
Dealer-grade tools on-site
Many newer trucks lock tests, forced regens and calibrations behind manufacturer security. We carry dealer-grade scan tools with bi-directional controls and programming access, so we can run doser and pump tests, command forced regens and complete calibrations right at your lot.
Diesel, DEF & DPF: common questions
Do you work on diesel pickups and box trucks?
Yes. We handle light- and medium-duty diesels, including Cummins, Duramax and Power Stroke pickups and medium-duty trucks such as Freightliner M2 and Isuzu F-series.
Can you do a forced DPF regen?
Yes, on most trucks. Our dealer-grade scan tools can command forced regens and run DEF system tests on-site.
Why does my truck keep going into derate?
Usually an emissions fault: DEF quality or dosing, a failed NOx or temperature sensor, or a DPF that can't regenerate. We test to find which.
